I dislike bar bags so I use an Ortlieb In Put. http://www.ortlieb.com/_prod.php?lang=en&produkt=input
It clips in my pannier, keeps documents together and has a neck cork for when not on bike.

And now we are into American Films. It's a bit like a Radio 4 panel game.

By the way Dai your Uncle Harold may have been right. If you lost an engine the best you could hope for was that the other one would fly you to the scene of the crash.

You have to use their mini-bus service. Contact forum member MLJ for more details as he has used the service.

I have been on the train from Malaga to Seville but not with a bike. Hovever the locals seem to take on bikes without any problem. I have even seen bikes on the train from the airport into Malaga.

Almost everyone has a different view on what is 'cycle touring'. My thoughts are that a tour should cover more than a one day ride from a fixed base.

I did meet a couple who told me very seriously that they were 'cycle campers'. Yet they went to campsites in their car, they had a very large tent, and cycled around the area.

Not knocking them. Just don't think they were 'cycle campers'.

The only time I have done this route I went down the Rhone to Avignon, over Ventoux, through Canyon de Verdon and down Route Napoleon into Nice. From there followed the coast through Monacco into Italy, San Remo and Genoa. Fantastic ride full of variation.

Word of warning; Genoa is one awful place to cycle in. Avoid if possible.
