Comments on 9 day JOGLE route starting mid-August please

After many, many years of saying I will do LEJOG one day, I have finally put a marker down to get it done this year… Having recently been made redundant I have found myself with a time window, and I know that I if I don’t grab now, it might be another few years of trying to find the time to fit it i...

81.6m according to the BRT.

I think that is the right place to cross the A30 at Roche, BRT doesn't like it though.

Re: Camel Trail - Road Bike

Thanks Mick. That does look like a great route. The only problem for me is that it looks like it adds an extra 10 miles and nearly an extra 2,000ft of climbing. I still have to get down to Helford from Redruth and that extra hour is not going to have me in the good books at the start of the holiday :(

Re: Camel Trail - Road Bike

Thanks for the quick replies.

I'll definately try that route then.

Erudin, it must have been tough towing that iron sculpture along behind you...

Camel Trail - Road Bike

I'm thinking of doing a bit of a route recce in the coming days. As I'm on the way down to Helford for a family holiday, I thought that I would do Launceston to Redruth before heading due south to Helford from there. I'm looking to do about 80 miles and need to crack on at a reasonable pace to avoid...
