I used to do 6 spin classes a week some being double sessions, loved it, broke 7 bikes in 6 years or should i say parts, have a dodgy heart valve now so gave it up years ago, cannot do high intensity stuff anymore.
Late update but now that group has blossomed i have now set up a Moulton classified group should anyone have Moulton bikes or parts for sale, swap or wanted!
P.s i have a new group page on facebook called "The moulton f frame group" so if you have an f frame feel free to join, only started it yesterday and over 30 people have joined already.
Yup the major is getting the works, the speed is nice as is so just had a few alloy bits added and brooks saddle and grips as the speed is a little rarer and good condition, the major i bought as seen with already a full green respray and an extra set of new bars, i may swap the nittos with the othe...
Few goodies I bought last week, 2 sets of brooks plump grips to match my new saddles and have a honey flyer special I am waiting for, some nice new vintage style alloy pedals, new tektro sl750 levers for both bikes, a side stand removal tool as bike needs stripped completely for paint or powder, mor...
Cool, did you do any mods to the rear fork to fit the hub as a few say its a straight fit yet some have cold set them? Will post pics when I get a chance as have no broadband to hook up my PC so relying on my phone and it won't let me upload any pics from their either!
Already bought a gorgeous pista 46t crankset from brick lane bikes, chainring is removable should I need to alter gearing and have choice of 3 rear sprockets, 165mm crank arms for my bad knees.
Been saying that on the Moulton Facebook forum for ages, why have a premium brand and not keep it updated is beyond me, even the preservation side of it is 20 years in the past, it infuriates me no end, if you look at Asian forums and Facebook shop sites they show all the latest models and specs and...
I do have some bike mechanic skills and built a few custom motorbikes also so not bad with a spanner, makes more sense to me to go the frame only or tsr9 route and like you say depending on price of parts I can get I bet its cheaper than the shop custom route paying for shop time and full retail pri...
Considering one for the summer as have pretty much given up on motorbikes so need a new bling object in my life, already have an old f frame speed and a mk2 Major which is getting a modern revamp of a sturmey 8 speed igh but fancy a new bike but prefer the igh hubs over messy derrailleurs and love t...
