Re: E Drive

It may not be much help, but I have recently had a Heinzmann motor fitted to my Kettweisel, its a delta trike, with motor on the 20" front wheel and torque sensor in the bottom bracket. I found it impossible to get any performance data from any manufactured beforehand, which is understandable a...

Re: Leg weakness

Hi I just read your post, I suffered a severe stroke 2 years ago, there are some similarities with MS,i.e, the muscles are still there but the brain ain't talking to them. I have been using a recumbent trike to help with my recovery, and have gone from complete left-sided paralysis to cycling 40K an...

Electric Kettweisel

don't know if anyone is interested, but after what seems like an interminable wait, finally Had a Heinzmann Direct drive fitted to the kett, after a fairly flat 35K ride in and around York this morning the display says there is still 44K left in the battery, so the range islooking like 70-80K - unti...

Re: VIDEO of LONDON to Frankfurt. My best tour so far. 720 miles

looks like a great tour Rob, thanks for sharing it I'm hoping to do York to Italy next year on my trike(due to a disability) and plan to follow the Rhine from Rotterdam to Basel, before trying an assault on the Alps! The cycle paths on your video look pretty good (and, crucially, flat!) and having wa...

Re: EV15 on a trike

thanks Lodge your experience with a motor is really interesting. the first time i have heard any 'real' experience of what to expect in terms of range etc. I haven't been able to get any 'concrete' idea of range for an electric assist so i am 'taking a punt' and have now ordered a Heinzmann, which i...
