Re: Things you've never done

As posted up thread there’s loads of things most of us wouldn’t have done or ever get the chance to do so I’ll go with what is probably most commonly seen as “the norm”. 1.Read a book since leaving school(1984). 2.Bought a newspaper. 3.Voted Tory. 4.Had a TV licence that I paid for. 5.Worn a suit/ti...

Re: "Well do ya ,punk?"

I’m not a great believer in luck so I don’t feel “lucky” for anything in my life.I believe we make our own “luck” with the choices we make.I prefer to say “I’m happy I’ve got what I believe I deserve”. Reminds me of a quote from the legendary Bart Simpson when sitting down to dinner:- Marge:-“Bart s...

Re: ** The Brexit Thread ** - 'Brexit Means Brexit'

When the Bill of departure is signed at the end of January we will be out. Johnson can easily get it through now. Then the trade negotiation started. We'll be neither in nor out. IF the departure Bill is voted through in January, it will be the start of a long transition period to get the trade agr...

Re: ** The Brexit Thread ** - 'Brexit Means Brexit'

That's possibly true, but (for example) sometimes you wonder why for example so much time is given to antisemitism in the Labour party and so little to Islamophobia in the Tory party. Social media threads were full of Corbyn being antisemitic without any attempt to analyse it, nobody on the other h...

Re: Any experiences of Nu-flex as a cyclepath surface ??

The one thing I am not so keen on is resurfacing with a material that does not fit into the surrounding environment. I really do not like Nu-Flex option, I think we have something like it on the Upper Don valley Trail (part of the TPT) between Penistone and Dunford Bridge. It appears to get damaged...

Following on from your immediately previous post - there are idiots on bikes and idiots driving vehicles. The idiots on bikes are just idiots, but idiots behind steering wheels can be kille...

“Cyclist” or just an idiot who happens to ride a BSO?
I’d have thrown him and his bike out of the way.

Re: Anyone Using Pay Pal 2FA?

Is this the page you're after? How do I enable 2FA (two factor authentication) for my PayPal powered by Braintree User? Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security that can be added to your user in the Control Panel, making it more difficult for unauthorized users to access your ga...

Well,well,well..... It transpires this model citizen was indeed a drug dealer! Killed by a rival drug gang. Some of us see the blindingly obvious, others decide to try to see the best in things and accuse us of jumping the gun and stereotyping  As I said upthread months ago he wasn’t the littl...
