Re: 66 Points

I do wonder how carefully the courts look into "exceptional hardship" claims. e.g. how much gear do beauticians have to carry and is it so much that it's can't be carried on public transport. I managed to get my bike, camping gear, clothing, everything from Norwich to France using public ...

Re: Good news

Personally I oppose the ultimate penalty in every circumstance. Being in prison for decades could be a fate worse than death, anyway. So if someone killed or raped one of yours you'd oppose the death penalty? I'd pull the trigger myself or flick the switch myself 8) Each to his own. There's a reaso...

If you're going to get it you will self-isolation or not. It's just the Govt's way of looking like they're doing something  My wife runs a Respiratory Ward at our local Hospital. They've been told they will be the isolation ward for Covid-19.Do they(the Nurses etc) self-isolat...

Re: Another Buying Ebay Scam - Buy Now Receive Sometime

If you've no problem buying from China try wish.com. They give you a realistic delivery time and are usually cheaper than ebay. I have had 5 or 6 refunds from Paypal( highest was £45) for stuff ordered through ebay that turned out to be Chinese and didn't turn up. I always check where the seller/sup...

Re: Good news

He never committed capital offence. He will not be in prison for 23 years. He will be unlike to survive 5. The sentences are consecutive so each offence gets a sentence then they get added on. So? You could argue, and I would, that what he did is worse than a capital offence :x You said the man shoul...

Re: Good news

Jailing a 67 year old for 23 years is pointless. A bullet in the head is much cheaper. It's also cheaper than putting someone on probation so I guess you advocate for most offences on cost grounds. No just murderers, rapists and child molesters. Jailing a 67 year old for 23 years is pointless. A bul...

[ I too would expect to pay around £2.50 for a PAC in most places. Well, suppose you and 100%JR must be "well off", frequenting higher establishments  . I normally pay £0.49 for a freshly baked pain au chocolate. Can't remember offhand what I pay in France, but I'm sure it's not a L...

Don't forget to buy your food outside of the lakes  (NB. I've literally just returned from a few days in Keswick an hour ago and had neglected to stock up prior to entering the lakes  ) The number of porsche's pulling out of Booths supermarket car park, may give you an idea of the price...
