Thanks for speedy reply. Didn't know there was a difference lol will have to call solicitor and find out. Is a proper written up quote for these reasons a standard thing in bike shops? Or may I have to look about? Only ever been verbal pricing on spot when I've been in past then a card receipt with obviously no details.

Few questions... Got knocked off few weeks back, ready to get back in the saddle but bike has a bit of damage, my solicitor said just take to shop get fixed and submit them the receipts, sounds easy enough, however I'm not sure if i'd rather the money & just put towards new bike, also alot of damage is superficial( scratched to f*ck but still useable) If id been responsible I wouldn't bother replacing( pedal, rear deraileur, seat, but I'm not so don't wanna just let them off the damage they've caused, can I submit a quote for new stuff from bicycle shop? would I need them to write it in a proper email? last one, I already own a rear wheel so would rather just replace the buckled one, what would I do about that? Thanks for the quick replies, need to be back on road asap. Bike is a Fuji Transonic. Will go ahead & buy new hanger & derailleur , bikes on its last legs anyway so wanna get it repaired as cheap as possible, dont wanna eat into the new bike fund!

My derailleur hanger snapped tonight the derailleur went into the wheel & the frame of the bike is damaged as you can see in picture, its only around a 3rd of the way round the hole thats broken away, can this be repaired? does it need to be repaired? Thanks

My seat rail clamp snapped today on my Fuji Transonic, I asked Evans about a replacement they said they only sell oversized ones which would fit a seat with Carbon rails mine arent. They said it would need to be specially ordered in but before I go down that route which seems a bit long winded thought I'd ask on here if anyone knew of any being readily available anywhere else?

Oval Concept 520 Crankset just put new 105 11 speed chain on.

Emailed Evans about which outer chain ring would fit my bike & have been pointed to Shimano105 7250 10 speed chain ring. Can anyone confirm this is right please before I make the purchase?
