never heard of skyrides before..back in the days of Kernow CC we used to all stick together on sunday rides and if you were feeling fit you helped the struggling riders up hills.

ice is sort of ok if you don`t see it..once you say oh no ice you fall

I know our daughters`previous school had no facilities for cycling to school and IMHO the teachers don`t set a good example to good health and fitness anyway...

I rode my bike with trailer with dog in it into the school grounds,nobody said anything except laughed at poor Meg sat watching the world go by!
don`t do it now as daughter is at another school and I can`t ride anyway :(

flashing mode an the rear and I also have a flashing front one
my sis said the flashing is really annoying when you`re approaching a bike,but thats the point you see it! :)

First thing with Orthopaedic injury-dont panic and make quick decisions. Your body will take its time to mend. Gentle stretch and exercise will not hurt in the long run, pluss sensible diet. I`m an agency/bank nurse the consultant suggested I transfer to office work,but they don`t use us in the office and now I don`t receive any sick pay apparently I`ll be in a `boot` in a month then 6 weeks after that I get physio its been such a huge disaster :( I usually cycle to work and walk the do...

well I broke my foot :( to be specific I broke the navicular bone in my foot after a stupid minor accident on my motorbike Now I don`t want to argue with the consultant as he earns more than me! but he reckons 1)my days of motorcyling are over as this bone helps support my when foot is down and on ...
