we live near the top of a long hill and I do try and make my ride circle around it so my last mile or so is down hill instead of the long slog up,I think it helps :)

there`s a hill on the flat lode trail with loads of rocks across the path on a particulary steep part,I always know its going to stop me and I have to get off and walk! everytime I go up that path I know its going to do it,I walked there and annalized the path to see a way round and think next time....

I held up traffic in st ives a while back,was riding into a roundabout and a lady pulled out from my left on her mobile,so I stopped and shouted get off yer phone!

I would suggest something like a specialized tricross

He could have done with my neodymium magnet cycle suit. It only cost £10 in magnets from ebay, supplemented with a few from old hard drives in my gloves. I figure that if receive a knock from a car, I'm better off sticking to the car than crashing out, or landing in a heap in the road to be hit by ...
