the other day when I went with my bike on the train,I did notice the bikes with trailers in the bike section...
I thought you couldn`t take trailers?
would love to do this,as I could take a dog with me

its a bit rubbish I prebooked my bike on the train to Bodmin, for a quick rekky to see if cycling to bodmin hospital was feasable...the bike area was packed,on my return trip(no booking as not allowed)I had to lean my bike against some suitcases in the doorway. decided it won`t be a way to travel to...

Because it's unpredictable, you don't know if they are going to go "I've had enough of this", and try to squeeze past.

actually I have noticed the complete opposite,loads of pleasant drivers out there at the mo.
now I`ve done it..gotta venture on the A30 today :roll:

I used the cyclepaths from Bodmin Parkway to Bodmin town this week,much more direct than battling with the A38 :shock: eek,but why did they have to put that huuge hill in the way :)

I know on my ride home from work there`s a bend in the road and I`m cycling up hill I can see if its clear way before the car behind so do wave them on,usually get a wave of thanks for this,I don`t always do it depends how hard I`m riding!I am concious that I am holding them up and its a difficult r...

ouch nasty :( our daughter was nearly taken out on the trail last year by a flying yoof :x he charged past us,then promtly shot off in a ditch :roll:
problem is its a shared path and we need to respect each other....

I like the idea of trying the ride before actually going to work,was thinking of trying to use the train and cycle to Bodmin hospital,but not sure how long its gonna take...
job for next week I think 8)
I`m really not fit enough or brave enought to cycle 30miles to work...along the A30 :(

Ditto we start in 2 weeks from JoG and I've been back over the route avoiding more A roads, we ride into Wadebridge on the A39 for the last 10 or so miles on day 11 and I'm reconsidering that. is that from camelford?not so bad after wadebridge towards newquay but camelford to wadebridge is an orrib...

terrible news :( reminds me of Andrew Hitchens who was killed back a fews ago on the A30 near Camborne,brings a shivver up my spine as I and loads of others were riding that day...
I bet the women who killed him doesn`t even think about it now... :(

have a funny thing happen today on my way to work..cycling past a junction 2 cars shot out the second one cut me up but he was in such a hurry he didn`t see the queue in font of him...bang up the back of the van infront

I remember having 4 punctures in 20 miles back in my youth,got a little angry with my pump and chopped the top off my finger
got me a lift home though :)
on an audax we broke our chain on a tandem climbing a hill near st just luckily another rider had a chain tool(not something I carry :roll: )
