When you think of the tools available when it was put together it is staggering.

I'm in Cardiff, must have been here 25 years before we did a walk that took in that one and this one https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4730590
That is despite visiting Dyffryn Gardens, in between the two, plenty of times

Re: Car parking close to the kerb by the traffic light s

You cycle between a stopped car and the kerb when there is insufficient space, hit the car, damage it and then try to claim it's the car driver's fault?
Get real, it's your fault. Ask the driver for a quote for getting his mirror fixed and then pay up.

That said, I either broke a rib, or tore some connecting tissue between my ribs a few years ago, and what my GP said about it was to listen to my body. He suggested avoiding exercise that would be jarring, such as running, or use the abdominal muscles much, like golf. He said most low impact exercise would be okay, as long as it didn't give me pain. Cycling, swimming, and light weight lifting, he thought were okay, but told me not to lift heavy weights. He also recommended avoiding positions in movement exercise (e.g. yoga, pilates) that stretched the abdomin, or gave me pain.

Well, I am not really asking for medical advice, I just wanted to know how long does it usually takes for the rib to heal and before I can get back to working out and training my muscles, but thanks anyway, I will probably still go to the gym and do some low impact exercises to keep myself fit during this time I have to rest my body. I will definitely take note and avoid jarring exercise.

It seems to me that you are contradicting yourself.

What evidence for you have for this statement? It sounds to me like a wild generalisation based on prejudice.

Maybe I am being thick. Can you re-phrase this because I don't I understand what you are trying to say
What do you have to be to be a UK citizen if not born here?
Is it really all a mstake?
What does such "oversights" do for the UK's standing in the eyes of europeans?

It's a bit out of date now, but still a good book.

It says to start by rebuilding a pedal, which is good advice.

Oh, and get a workstand. It can be homemade, but there were jobs that only became possible because I had the right tools.

When was Richard's Bicycle Book last updated? I had a copy when I was a teenager, I am 57 now. It was a good book and obviously made an impression on me but I tend to use videos on YouTube these days. Like many others have said the Parktools videos are good.

The demise of Poundworld may well help Poundland to survive though.

Call it Guinea World?

If they called it Guinea World they would be drastically reducing their customer base. Everyone knows what a pound is but I doubt if many people under 50 know what a Guinea is
