Recipe boxes-an absolute waste .In the past peasants ploughed and prayed to glean food to cook. Now people find it too challenging to
1walk to and within a shop
2.carry food in a bag
3. read a book
All these tasks are requiring skill, enterprise and courage ,particularly if tins have to be opened, eggs cracked and gas lit.
So convenient to use a nice disposable kit.

The rate for such work would be no more than £20 per hour.
!.You were aware of the time spent
2.You should have requested an invoice and bank details.
The police cannot help as no crime has been committed. Secondly you paid cash presumably at his request. This is the scam perpetrated by itinerant tradesmen, usually tarmacking drives .It is a scam dating back to 60s.
If people were more astute these people would seek proper employment rather than exploit the gullible. Sorry for your loss.

This would allow people to add a motorised element as they age, gain weight and go soft in old age. Could be a real bike for life.

The fact that animals enjoy certain foods does not mean they are safe to consume .Rat poison will attract rodents ,with harmful effects. Humans like take aways laces with calories with the consequence they become overweight, even obese.

Donkeys eat grass, and should not be fed alien morsels. Chocolate poisons dogs ,and cats choke on aniseed.
