Erotica and retro-cycling

I keep reading adverts which mention "suitable for erotica events",which seems quite racy and there follows an image of a rusty Claud Butler boasting 5 gears for £500.Am I missing something of interest to cycling hipsters?

Dawes Galaxy 2000-2009

I have read in several places that Dawes are no longer British as the frames were built initially in Czech Rep.and latterly in Vietnam, and that the quality of the frame-building has been compromised.Even heard some versions in aluminium. Can anyone enlighten me?

It confirms what many think

The West Country begins in Bristol-unless you come from D&C

Re: Which is it most important to reopen asap? Pubs or Schools

Children have one chance to learn. We have plenty of overweight people, partly attributable to alcohol and high calorie pub grub. The only people likely to favour the pub option are
1.disaffected scholars
2.pub owners,and staff
3.shareholders in Diagio etc.
4.brexit fan,Dim Martin
5.teachers etc
6.people who enjoy company of others when drinking, and micro-wave meals
7.naive libertarians
8.people needing access to a toilet

Re: A mask in your bike bag?

Round our way cafes stock free masks for customers, which seems excellent business sense, given gross margins on coffeee of £2 per cup.

Truly,a man of the world who is the equal of Clapton, and with integrity to spare, unlike the plagarist who played for Fred Heppelin.

Re: Cycle insurance - is it worth it?

All insurance policies are a form of saving, from which companies make money.I prefer to accumulate the monies not spent on insurance to fund replacement. Most policies are full of disclaimers and if compensated, you will face higher premiums. My view is be careful,be lucky and do not leave your bike in a vulnerable location.I had one bike stolen over a very long time, stolen when left unlocked in an emergency.

Re: Unisex bike, men's saddle

When people assembled touring bikes in last century many chose to buy own parts, often at higher cost.By requesting a modification, you are raising costs and should be prepared to pay a little more.A sensible saddle bike shop would fit the saddle free, charge for saddle and buy back the unwanted item. There is no such thing as a unisex bike-its a marketing termtBeds are unisex but vener seen a mans bed or a womans bed, except my mums.
