Re: Sir Gary Verity quits.

I think you are confusing my Gladys( BSc Econ.Oxon) with a vulgar thoroughfare in Liverpol.By the way my money is on MCFC with Liverpool imploding
and Klop receiving a ban for criticizing officials.

Re: Rugger Starts At 19.25 Tonight - Eng V Irl Tommorow Spoilers Possible!

don't like League,I find the fifth tackle turnover boring and the pretend scrum ridiculous, whereas Union is more abstract. That said I only ever watch the international games and the odd domestic game if they're on the box. The real sport starts with the Belgium Classics, proper sport You are very co...

Re: Steven Bell cartoon - racist or not?

How can a cartoon be racist? The practitioner ca be racist,as can the message or the implications of the cartoon. Being humorous is hazardous as it often risks causing offence

Mobility Scooters[Per Ca pita Ownership

Apparently these scooters are becoming a real must have item among "Left Behind" Britain. Most are constructed in the UK and an ideal way of demonstrating a patriotic commitment to industry in the UK.Where do you think will be the new scooter capital? My money is firmly on Mayfair where the...

Re: what the rich get up to

That Robbie Williams is a card-if I wanted to upset someone lashings of Sabbath would do the trick with taped loops of Manilow,de Burgh and Abba.It is wasted on Page who has allegedly plundered others to supplement his catalogue eg Spirit,Robert Johnson and many others.

Re: Geraint Thomas Book

I struggle to imagine what a cyclist can possibly write about.A touring cyclist can describe things discovered by travel, but a racing cyclist can hardly comment on his environment.Wiggins seemed an interesting personality but Mark Cavendish is devoid of charisma.Would people buy his book if he had n...
