Re: Rear view glasses

I know you have stated that you don't want to fit anything on your bars but I would highly recommend this BM bar-end mirror. I fitted one to our tandem and it is great. Very discreet. https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/accessories/busch-muller-cycle-star-mirror-fits-to-handlebar-end-no-stem-for-drop-bars/...

Re: Rear view glasses

I’ve seen the Corky and really wanted to get that but my Di2 controller is on the right side of the drop bar so given up on that idea.

Rear view glasses

When out riding I just find it so difficult to have a good look behind me especially when I’m away to move from the bike lane to the main lane for cars. Is there any rear view glasses that anyone on here are using? God knows why but I don’t fancy mounting anything on the handle bars....... Neil I'm ...

Re: Evans Cycles does NOT ship new bikes abroad - but I want one

You have probably thought of this, but........ Get a cheap return flight to UK. Pay for bike on the way back. You could probably do this for about £100 - if the bike is a bargain, this may or may not be worth it. Not ideal, but you asked for suggestions. +1 I'm a trendy consumer. Just look at my wo...

Re: Looks about 100 kilometers is me maxed out

Lots of you have mentioned to get a proper fitting. When I ordered the bike in September we did an initial fitting to get the saddle height correct and knees over the peddles correct. When my bike arrived in Kuala Lumpur 4 months later everything was all a rush ( my fault not Treks) so we basically ...

Looks about 100 kilometers is me maxed out

Today we did another 100 klicks and I was tired when we finished. When I say tired I couldn’t wait to get back to my car. Knees starting to get sore. Lower back or hip left side periodically giving me jip but at the end of the day and one hour later sitting on the sofa with cold packs on my knees an...

I would have been mortified if I had damaged the bike. The only damage to me is under my right kneecap....... no idea how that got hit but it’s more a grase than anything else. The knee pads did there job. Neil I'm a trendy consumer. Just look at my stupid phone. Knee pads? Probably the cause of yo...

Re: Came off my bike today

it is what you call 'a clipless moment'. Yes, although I prefer the branded version of 'SPD moment'. They are mostly harmless, just a little embarrassing. It happens when you are new to clipless, not when you have been doing it a while. I last did that about 20 years ago. I hope I never do it again...
