Re: BBC Bias again

Pretty sure that the majority of us on here will find this character distasteful [...] I don't see the relevance of trying to hoodwink people into watching Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (who calls himself Tommy Robinson after a football hooligan) to this discussion. HOODWINK how dare you accuse me of doing...

Re: Anyone else putting off touring decisions due to Br***t?

Hondated I'm not going to comment further other to say that the UK will be living with this mess for a long time to come and that if there is an upside to all of this shambles it's been to show the government and opposition for what they are,a waste of time and effort and the system of demockracy i...

Re: Anyone else putting off touring decisions due to Br***t?

Lots of mentions of losing EHIC and a few about getting health insurance. A warning. Given the age of many on this forum and some of the reported ailments, I would advise getting a quote before booking a trip. 65 is a threshold for many policies and pre existing conditions can bump up the cost cons...

Re: Anyone else putting off touring decisions due to Br***t?

Willem Jongman Thank you for your sensible, well thought out and considered comments.you're not wrong. Hondated If you think the UK is a democracy you're sadly mistaken. If you think I support either of those two your definitely wrong. As for us living in a democracy wrong again. Casting a vote to m...

Re: Anyone else putting off touring decisions due to Br***t?

If there is indeed one thing in which the UK is fundamentally different from the rest of Europe it is social inequality. In Britain the rich are filthy rich, and the poor are desperately poor. If you look at the statistics the contrast is enormous. And now it is upper class twits like Jacob Rees-Mo...

Re: Anyone else putting off touring decisions due to Br***t?

Cheers all for your comments, maybe time to draw it to a close. As has been pointed out a few times there is already a long thread covering the wider Brexit issues. I didn't post on there as I thought my comment would get 'lost'. What I am going to do is book my tickets to London, when the advance ...

Re: Anyone else putting off touring decisions due to Br***t?

Why would we want to do that ! We voted to be out. And for the majority of us it had nothing whatsoever to do with immigration but rather paying millions into a body that is controlled by non elected people and having to take on board legislation that it seems to me we had little input into forming...

Re: Anyone else putting off touring decisions due to Br***t?

Maybe some will still come to their senses and put the whole thing off . If not, I would not plan to travel in the immediate aftermath. Make sure you have proper health insurance, a current passport, and be prepared for a pound that will buy you less. Beyond that, of course you are welcome, just as...

Re: Inner Tubes !

Thanks everyone. Definitely going to buy a batch of Schwalbe next time the. Still on topic really, I ordered 6 Continental IT from CRC for £16.99 and just looked at one I had in a box had brought from my LBS and it cost £6.50. As much as I like to support my LBS its becoming a too costly business fo...
