Re: Pictures of your bike(s)

Yeah it's a stoater. I've only really ridden it on roads and bridleways tbh when loaded up. I've ridden it on my local mtb routes with 40mm tyres on it and it was very comfy compared to my old cx bike

Re: Pictures of your bike in a tent

My problem is really despite trusting people all over the world it's The sites in England that worry me. My cousin was knocked off his bike beaten and had his bike stolen in a supposedly nice area of Northern England and yes I know that's unrelated to a bike in a tent it just goes to show the sad state of affairs in some places

Re: Pictures of your bike in a tent

My plans would take me to two dodgy campsites on a trip to my grandfathers house. And my thinking was I need a new tent anyway and my current one weighs 1.5kg and my d lock weighs 1.5k so if I buy a bigger more useful sub 2.5kg tent and a lighter lock it will be the same weight. But I'll have more useful space and a better nights sleep. Plus on sites your not always sure to get a spot within reach of a locking point that works for your lock

Re: Pictures of your bike in a tent

Yeah I'd seen a couple of tarp tents where that looked possible also a couple of big but light tents with a big porch. Cheers

Pictures of your bike in a tent

I'm wanting to do some cycle touring but I'd like a tent big enough for me and my bike. So does anyone do this? If so what do you use and got any pics. I'd also like it sub 2.5kg if poss. Long shot I know :) thanks
