Re: Dogs off lead on shared use path

Any court judgement or out of court insurance settlement will be determined by the facts of the individual case. I agree, but the only facts that I could see were that she had four dogs off the lead, and there were witnesses to that effect. She might have claimed I was going too fast, but I wasn't ...

To be clear, this is not a post about someone who knows casual biking and is a beginner in road biking, mtb or the like. Many thanks Again a question with no budget mentioned, £100 o...

Re: Summer, and I am back to Photography

The problem IS the concentration, and FRUSTRATION, I know my photography inside out, what my camera can/can't do, having been into it 45 years, with Astro I would lose my temper before achieving anything believe me, too many variables..... WHEN you are on your OWN to learn

Re: Summer, and I am back to Photography

Quite east, my son had an air rifle mounted pointing at the bulb hanging from a standard fitting, I had flash behind/off camera set yo 1/25,000th second, I would start (eos, 60D) start shooting and he shot it, took about 20 attempts, later I remember, what a prat, I should have put tarp down for the...

Re: Summer, and I am back to Photography

Nice piccies! When did you go to visit Patrick, out of interest? I was there at Farthings, with other members of our local AS, back in November 2011 - just over a year before he died. AAS_and_Patrick.jpg While Patrick was taking a nap (he was already quite frail at that time) we all went outside an...

Re: I have no idea where to post this - dogs on leads

When approaching a PwD person with dog from behind I move over to the left or right as appropriate and ring my bell in a friendly way so they may locate me without looking Of course one goes slowly and is prepared to stop if necessary Much of this applies to free-range children too  That is f...

Well my Scenic was hit by a 40 tonner on a roundabout with my three sons in the back, a few shouts and that was it, so I am happy
