Re: A 6 speed Brompton won’t change gear

A 6 speed Brompton won’t change gear A friend was complaining that their 6 speed Brompton would not change from small to large cog. The bike was very dirty with grip/sand. I tried to adjust the rear derailleur with success, so it changes gear under pressure or not under pressure. This adjustment di...

Re: Pay

The govt have made noises about every kid in the country getting bikeability......you have to wonder where all the instructors are going to be found. Same place as the new nurses, I imagine, they'll just magically appear if we're suitably optimistic. Though not so much like the nurses I wouldn't be...

Re: Is this forum unrepresentative?

There are a number of Conservative cycling groups, in various places. The Conservative Cycling Campaign are quite active on twitter as @ToryCycling and seem to promote and support reasonable initiatives. Cycling UK had events at both Labour & Conservative party conferences last year https://www...

Re: London to Hastings route

Not sure if this it the right page for routes... Anyway, like it says in the title, I'm interested in riding from London to Hastings soon and wondered if there are any recommendations for routes. From Google maps it looks like there are some pretty major hills, I've done London to Brighton a few ti...

Pedals and big feet in trainers

Pedals and big feet in trainers size 10 (UK size) I have found my feet are too far back on the pedal and that the surface area of the pedal is too small. I use the following pedal https://www.tredz.co.uk/.MKS-GR9-Road-Cage-Pedals_18208.htm?sku=23229&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_c...

Re: When will P Tuohy Leave?

M check is good in that it makes people follow a prescribed path along the bike checking stuff as they go and so they are less likely to forget stuff. However one of the main issues with it is that everyone's version of it is different, i.e. includes different checks. There is also the ABC, ABCD an...

Because they recognise the benefits of cooperation? On their Campaigning page
We're working with our fellow active travel organisations to campaign for change.
