Re: When will P Tuohy Leave?

He is still there there nearly 2.5 years later  And what's the latest membership figure? 68,000 according to the latest email. I know it's fluctuated within my area, but never by more than a few percent and it's been steadily rising for at least five years. We used to get the contact details,...

Re: Funniest clean joke I've heard recently

I think that very funny, but if I told that to a particular type of person in central London they would call me sexist and Stereotyping and would submit a formal complaint. https://www.aauw.org/2014/08/13/why-stereotypes-are-bad/ I have told this joke to people in their 30's they either did NOT und...

It took a couple of days, but on the third day he came home to see a clean house and dishes washed and put away. The second man married a ...

Re: London to Exeter route advice

I'm planning on riding from London to Exeter at some point in the next few weeks, ideally over 2 days. I'm pretty fit, and will be on my road bike traveling light with just a saddlebag for civives and change of cycling clothes. I plotted this route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/14892704 picking u...

Tinpoflowers I hope you didn't type all that :D I'm struggling to make out the actual place you went through. Any chance of a list or link so to gpx file? The entry to London in the long list seems to be over Box Hill then the old Brighton Road and then a lot of A roads with no help for cycling. I'...

It's minus 3 degrees outside. Car is covered in ice and there's no way I'm out on two wheels. So I decided to do something useful. I cleaned my water bottles. A good scrub and a soak in Steradent cleaned the bottles. Then I started on the tops.I pulled the rubber bung out to find a mass of black gu...
