just to update....

going to take the wheel into LBS tomorrow and get them to fit a standard freehub. will cost more than i wanted but i should at least be able to service the wheel myself without any unusual tools needed

as ive mentioned a few times .... when i suffered with knee pains i found fish oil tablets ( not the cod liver ones) helped relieve the pain in the knees a little. might be worth trying as they dont exactly break the bank. you can pick them up in Boots

ive used my Sirrus for 'light touring'...but also everyday to commute. had it 3years now.great bike i say light touring....i carry tent, sleeping bag, spare clothes and all the other c**p i take :lol: ...yet still handles well. but be sure to have tyres that are 28c or wider....32c might be better
