spraying a bike

hi guys

looking a getting a bike frame, and building a bike!
just to jazz it up a bit i mit get my bro to paint it as hes a car sprayer!

what kind of preparation does the frame need before applying paint????

hi guys!

ive got a barracuda squadra that im fixing into action! however it is a LARGE frame and im only 5ft 5!

are there any tips or tricks to make it fit??
otherwise its gona end up on a postcard in the local shop window

i suppose one of my options is to shorten the cranks...

my dog used to be a right buggr for lunging for cyclists!

but i taught him to 'leave it' and hes good as gold now!

he even comes out with me when im cycling!

i think as your a non-cyclist at the moment... continue driving for mayb 3 to 5 weeks, whilst you build up your stamina on the bike! the evenings are light now so when you get home, just nip out on the bike. maybe encourage your partner to go out with you. rather than concentrate on miles, focus mor...

generally most pumps are pretty decent! you kinda get what you pay for! but i always go by the feel of the tyre...rather than the pressure gauge! you can normally tell by a good squeeze whether the tyre is pumped enough!! i use a track pump for inflating my tyres, and keep a spare hand pump on my fr...

Any of you guys tried not listening to anything whilst riding, the birds sing quite nice songs :D yep...& all i can hear is my loose front mech rattling & a cable rattling against a frame : ( gets a little annoying after a while! but i do agree for safety reasons!!! it is best to not listen

i found with my hub (the hard way iv got to admit...it involved a hacksaw!!!) i had to remove the cassette before the axle could come out! investing in the right tools is recommended...i use an adjustable spanner and a normal thin lockring spanner when adjusting my hub
