Re: Small 20 inch wheeled folder that rides well?

Last year I bought a lightly used dahon speed tr which is a chromoly framed touring version of the speed model. It has sram dual drive 24 gears, good quality kit and 2" schwalbe apples which I run at 40psi. We have a pair of these the Speed TR is an OK bike, quite light and it feels a lot stif...

Yes there's mesh on the inner but it won't be much use when cooking in the vestibule! Ideas? Cook in the inner tent? We've done that a couple of times before now. We had a very mosquito rich night on the west coast of Sweden a few years back. They bit me through my trousers, socks and gloves whilst...

EEA does not have the same strict Freedom of Movement requirements either !! Are you sure? If so, then that would mean that Norway has implemented freedom of movement just for the fun of it. "EU/EØS-borgere har rett til å arbeide, studere og bo i Norge. Alle EU/EØS-borgere som skal bo i Norge ...

Re: Trump Wins!

Farage told Mirror in May: “52-48 referendum would be unfinished business - If Remain campaign win two-thirds to one-third that ends it.” There is no evidence whatsoever that Mr Farage, or any Leave voters, would have behaved in such a pathetic, bitter and disrespectful way had they lost the refere...

Re: Trump Wins!

Their continued failure to accept the result, along with impolite and pompous remarks about the ability of their many voters to understand the issues involved, continues to highlight their anti-democratic nature and lack of respect for the will of the people as expressed in a free, fair, open poll....

Re: Everybody's Making Plans for Nigel

But his " The interim Ukip leader said victory for the 'brilliant' National Front leader would mean 'it’s over' for the European Union " makes me think his Leave campaigning in the UK is more driven by a hatred of the EU rather than his thinking is is not good for the UK. i.e. he seems to...

Re: Trump Wins!

There should have been something written to make it a crime to paint lies on the sides of buses, posters and so on. The distress at probably losing our main citizenship against our will would be tempered by seeing Gove, Johnson et al imprisoned. The EU might be willing to soften the blow there a bi...
