Re: Bill Gates' book and the Mars landers

There is often a lot of vibration when mounting cameras directly to a bike. You might consider a chest mount which means your body dampens out vibration....

Personally I think the anti-vaxers are mad, but they should have a right to spout their nonsense - slippery slope moderating stuff out that we don't agree with.

Re: Obesity epidemic and our addiction to oil
I know a lady who has been putting on 'just a little' weight year on year and I calculated that all it takes is a less than a chocolate bar a week over what she actually needs, to find herself two stone overweight ten years later. ' I have had something similar with myself of late. I have put on ov...

Re: Is Trump Mad?
I would agree, therefore, that when a major constitutional change is proposed which could have a lifetime effect a two thirds majority would probably better reflect the view of people. The SNP would be on a hiding to nothing then... Is that a problem? People are fickle, supermajorities should be re...

Re: Clicking wheels
I had the same thing yesterday, a notable metallic click once per turn on the front wheel, loud enough for me to stop and investigate. Click was still present with front wheel lifted and spun. Could not find anything that was causing it, continued riding. the noise must have vanished later as I forg...

Re: Perfect winters day on the road
Anyway- back to this wonderful weather. An absolute shocking -9°C as I set off this morning, but it was worth it, what a fantastic day to be out riding. 5 hours to do 36 miles  spent too much time playing with the camera. Here are a few more pics - the trees were just amazing https://i.postim...

Re: Perfect winters day on the road
Lovely. Off-topic - looks as if you've got a steerer extender on the bike. I'm thinking of getting one. Any issues? Excuse me for butting in.Had these extenders on two road bikes after a disc(back)problem. No issues apart from a small change in handling, soon adapted to.Taken them off when my back go...

Re: Chain Oiler
I would of thought the process of wiping dirty black oil from the chain after oiling was an important process in removing dirt - the new oil flushes out some of the dirty stuff inside the chain.
