Re: "Leisurely" Cycling Holidays

More thanks - on a quick skim "Weely Wonderful Cycling in Shropshire" does indeed look an attractive offering! I shall pursue.

Most of the ones I've found searching are overseas and I cannot get insurance which I am sure like all package holidays is mandatory. Just trying to get out of too much planning for myself! Aiming ...

Re: ** The Brexit Thread ** - 'Brexit Means Brexit'

So today I watched TM outline her plan B, 107 backbenchers were allowed questions. To which her general response was that planB = trying to talk MPs into agreeing with Plan A from last week. Utterly futile leadership. "...Plan A with cosmetic tweaking ..." I think! I also think that will ...

Re: ** The Brexit Thread ** - 'Brexit Means Brexit'

" Defeat these monsters in our midst, or spend a lifetime regretting it. And probably your children's lifetime too." Once the far right a.k.a. the shadowy REAL promoters of Brexit in power, the lifetime of "regretting" won't be very long for some of us. A "security camp"...

In one! Gut feelings are not based in reason nor logic nor fact. They are a denial of all those and indeed of the intellect. But then....

Re: ** The Brexit Thread ** - 'Brexit Means Brexit'

"Sorry to go back to WW2, but it is a clear precedent." And pretty clearly exactly what most Brexit Brigade actually want to re-run. I am pretty certain however that what "the lady" was chortling about was not conscription dodgers but all them foreigners going home … no doubt inc...

Re: ** The Brexit Thread ** - 'Brexit Means Brexit'

I've just overheard the "solution" to all our woes on the bus from an elderly lady. "....we need a war, then they'd all b***** off, the ships and planes would be full of 'em all going home...." Her companions agreed whole heartedly. Ah, the caring loving tones of the Leave voter...

For most people it's called being able to sell and being able to afford a replacement in a leafy suburb!

Re: ** The Brexit Thread ** - 'Brexit Means Brexit'

…..It's time for someone ( perhaps a National Coalition government like WW2) to take over and get things moving in the right direction. Its fundamentally clear this administration cannot do the job. If they ever could. Its nothing but a long running fiasco. …...May will stand down before the weeken...
