Re: Garmin Connect - ransomware victim?

It's been down over 48hrs now.I think it's more serious than Garmin are letting on.My Garmin connect App has been stating either "planned maintenance" or "maintenance from 4-8pm" for 2 days now.
Typical as I bought a Garmin watch last weekend

Re: heat, haircut & hat - warning!

Not boasting, but I am particularly hairy (think the hairy man at the swimming pool) with copious hair on my head. I too have a full head of thick hair but took to buzzing it down to No1 20 or so years ago.I then progressed to using the clippers without an attachment.Over the past year or so I've t...

I have now ridden twice since the incident and everything has been normal.
I now take my tablets one type at a time to doubly make sure I'm taking the correct amount of each!

Re: Guy Ritchie banned for texting at the wheel

I can't read the article due to pop-ups/ad-blocker etc. From what I gather Mr Ritchie was stationary when the alleged offence took place? So if I pull over, into a layby for instance,to answer a call or text and do so with the engine running it is an offence?Or if I'm stuck in traffic but stationary ...

Re: Shopping on the High Street

The High Street hasn't been the High Street as I knew it for years. The last time I went into town it was just sandwich shops,Poundshops,Mobile phone shops and Hairdressers. I rarely go into a clothes shop nowadays.I know what size and style I want/need and I order online.I generally buy outdoor gear...

Re: High BP Meds.....

I now own a little row of pill boxes from Home Bargains.
I have put numbers on top to correspond with how many of each I should take.I can't see me making the same mistake again but you never know.
I must've subconsciously done it whilst making a coffee/breakfast etc.

Re: Back to work?

I fully understand that that there will be folk on furlough who will not have jobs to go to but that isn't the case here.Someone said they knew no one who was getting 100% pay,my reply was just to highlight that it does happen. Last December our company announced some job losses. It was massively ove...

Re: High BP Meds.....

I've just had a thought so checked my Smart watch for a rough guide to Heart rate average. My resting HR is usually around 50-55bpm which is apparently very good for someone my age. Looking at my last few rides my HR average is 120-130bpm with a high of 163bpm when doing an average 14-15mph over 30 ...

I have a BP monitor I'm wishing I'd taken my BP on return now!
I shall be more careful as it was not an experience I want to endure again.I usually feel the effects of climbing but never to the point of feeling ill, dizzy and having to lie down!

Re: Jihadi Brides and their Children.

In a civilised society, governed by the rule of law, guilt is determined by a court after evidence is presented. It is nothing to with whether individual members of the public see it or not. Having children with someone however distasteful the individual is not actually a crime. Especially if you w...
