GPS cycling computer
Would a basic gps cycling computer with a trip also work for measuring distance walked? Try ing to measure length of a path running around a local lake ( not a cycle path)

swapping brake blocks
1954 raleigh which has vintage type rubber brake blocks fitted . These need replacing can i fit the longer modern 70mm instead (26" steel rims ) Or will it not improve things enough to bother (just buy new vintage style ones ) I realise main problem is ancient steel rims but new blocks are cheap
