Is this a good moment to mention Rod Liddell?

Apparently, Robert Peston is the current crush de jour , but the matinee idol-type slot on my list is occupied very ably by Mr ...

He has a brain the size of a planet, he's formidably well-read and he takes on people who run countries before breakfast. What's not to like? OK: ...

 I would hazard a guess that you are not r-e-a-l-l-y *that* interested in the news, Mr Kwackers? I've recently (very recently) taken to learning French and errm, need to watch French news programs to get used to the lingo. Aah! Ah, bon! Je comprends ... et bon chance, mon ami! Plus, the...

I must admit to finding this thread riveting ... Getting back on track, Phil says; 1. Bad bike shop attitude. This obviously varies enormously - mine is great and can't do enough for me. And the shop has a very relaxed atmosphere where it seems that everyone is welcome. I was there on Saturday wher...

Bit hard to say how good at her job she is from just a picture - afraid I've never heard of her before - what chanel is she on? Any news reader that can just read the news without adding their own opinion to the end of each story is OK in my book. She looks like that and she reads it in French... W...

I like television.

I like being online.

I like watching films at the cinema.

I don't like watching films online, on DVD or on the telly.

Is it just me?

Do women still want a bike with a lowered crossbar? Is that sort of dignity aid still required? Don't know about other Women, but I wanted a step-through. Due to my bad back I'm not particularly agile. Also, like Jan said, Women specific bikes have a different geometry to Men's. Re women riding bik...
