The appearance of the same model tends to change annually, so the same model looking cosmetically different is not necessarily indication that it's fake. The fork in this article has the same appearance as yours, from its introductory year.

Thank you for your answer. So maybe it's worth buying it. Because so far it's very hard to do anything.

Re: Replacing the front fork on the GT Avalanche Sport

I checked this fork by the serial number on the Rockshox website and it seems to be ok. According to the information from this website, it even comes out that this fork has an offset of 46mm. So exactly what I need.

Replacing the front fork on the GT Avalanche Sport

Hello.
I would like to replace the front fork on my GT Avalanche Sport 2021. Currently I have the SR Suntour XCT-DS coil. I would like to replace it with an air suspension.

On ebay I found such a suspension:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rock-Shox-Tapered-forks-XC30-Gold-29-Wheel/203320868267?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Dd15847a190374fec9580ef8493f56a3a%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D15%26mehot%3Dnone%26sd%3D254893609941%26itm%3D203320868267%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057%26brand%3DRockshox&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3Ad568b847-8fe3-11eb-8f31-52ec36095958%7Cparentrq%3A79b2395b1780acb1952977c8ffc6f474%7Ciid%3A1

All dimensions are correct: Tapered 1 1/8 "- 1.5", axle 9x100, 100mm travel, apart from the suspension offset, the seller told me it was 51mm.
According to the information from the GT website, mine is 46mm.

My question, will this have any big changes for me?
I am a beginner cyclist.
I also tried to find other suspensions with a 46mm offset, but all available for the 9x100 axle have a 51mm offset.
Are these available for sale at all?
