Re: Anyone here a plumber?

It could be you have a pipe that has come loose may be when you worked on the tap you may have dislodged one of the pipe clips.
It may just be that a pipe has worked loose and has nothing to do with the tap maintainance work.

Re: Three Word Story Game (again)

Extremely exciting events entertained Elinor, easily eschewing edible Escherichia collywobbles. "Imodium!!!!" cried Rennie Gaviscon, Andrew's leg fell off his piano and the resulting cacophony woke hairy Mary, Di Oralite was seen running away, followed by a baying mob of left luggage from ...

As Twin Leading Shoe Brakes use single end slaves they would be very obvious. Of course I date back to then days when Pop had cable operated brakes on his ...

Re: Maximum speed on a Road Bike

I well remember following Mick F off the A30 towards Oakhampton 38mph down the slip road on the way to Betty Cottles
My fastest was 41 from the top of Woodead down towards Barnsly. The road had been resurfaced and was as smooth as a silkworms trump

Re: When I'm dead .........

Seems a bit perverse to make an expensive coffin that is soon buried or burned, wastes a lot of material I think :? I some times wonder if the coffin is removed if it is to be burnt, and resold? not as if you or any one else go and see you put into the furnace? Could be a nice little earner, I bet ...
