Rape oil
Seems to be sun flower oil veg oil available, but rape oil seems to be in short supply-is this because of all the changes to diesel?
Remember running on it in an old 405 and it stank of chips, no good in the winter as jelled up.
Our Doris reckons that a cake with Rape oil is 60% less fat compared to butter, seeing as it's only cake talk so far-keen to go along with the plan.

Nightcap
My Doris has gone to bed, the dog isn't interested in the current food-even he looked desperate for a titbit.
Doris seems to think that we can be changed and she is right, permanently hungry.
So as we are eating vegetation, currently and all the beers and treats are cut back.
She's even not bought remi Martin Cognac but some Aldi brandy, best have a glass while I can as it will be bread and water way this diet is going.
No cigar either, distant memory like a gallon of 5 star.

Proper foodTangled Metal wrote: ↑11 Jun 2021, 12:37am Back in my Leeds university days the hike soc used to stop at Settle on the way to the lakes. They parked the minibus down the hill in a big carpark near a petrol station. We then all piled out and into the chippy. The veggie or vegan types went to the nearest chippy that cooked in veg oil. Those of us who liked good chips went up the hill to the one in the square area that cooked in animal fats. Their fish and chips simply had a flavour the veg oil chippy couldn't get. Mmmmm!!!!!
Watching rate my takeaway on YouTube and Danny top lad, drooling at the food.
Here it's punishment Time until Friday evening and a sirloin steak, chips, mushroom's and pepper Corn sauce.
This healthy eating lark seems to be permanently hungry.

Re: best lock - oxford alarmed vs kryptonite
On the continent there are insurance locks, Abus a good brand and there are video's on the locks being picked and broken on YouTube.
Key point is to lock it securely and in a public place.
Have a look a good lock is a good deterrent.
Some of the kryptonite locks are reasonable as well.

Well tonight's delight is grilled chicken breast with some pesto rabbit food and toasted croutons and sauce. Ceasar Salad?
Thankfully it's fillet steak and chips tomorrow or Chinese as a treat.
Then back to prison food.

Sounds about right, locally we say you never really own a plant trailer as they get nicked for a past time.richardfm wrote: ↑10 Jun 2021, 5:00pmYears ago my son locked a bike with a D lock in the middle of Cardiff while he went to work. When it was time to go home he couldn't find the key and there was no spare. I drove in to town with a 2 stroke generator and a corded angle grinder. No one batted an eyelid while I freed his bike.
Some of these fancy pants racing cycle's seem to cost thousands, like the one at work supposed to be something wonderful.
Maybe a cheap bike for work and a nice one for leisure times?

Public place and a kryptonite or sold secure.
Be aware plenty are picked in sub 3 minutes on YouTube.
Hydraulic cutter on plant equipment makes next to zero noise or cordless grinder popular.

Pool, darts etc all back in the day with a haze of smoke in the air, smoking ban killed pubs in my opinion, first time I thought about second hand smoke was when that fellow Roy Castle died- the Guinness world records chap and musician.
Different time now I guess, the other day someone got buttock pinched by the way I talk- nowt unpleasant like from me. Miss Beef dripping and toast.
Can't see much chance of that as Doris has gone all George Foreman on us and it varies from different to a crime against food at the moment.
Chip shops a cultural thing, I like all the different fish as long as fresh, My Doris and I when courting would share a bag of chips.

Flat cap and sun hats
Seeing as helmets have there own section and sun burnt head an issue,
Wondered what those who wear a helmet do as they seem uncomfortable, sweaty and your head cooked through the slits.
Flat cap here or Mick Dundee hat in summer
