Here at fat club we just pump the tyres to the max and ride on.

Perfectly useless as no bolt to clamp the tool and the cup below point of engagement.
The part is scrap and a drift and a lump hammer or washers and bolt no use.
Diamond burr, chisel, stillsons and a 3 foot scaffold bar
Magic
Recycled tree trunk optional

When you find it cut and the bike gone or it's so worn out the lock can be opened with a teaspoon or a straw

Any Chip Shop staff member who reaches for the horrors gets a good telling off from me. I don't season, that is my taste. MM
* Frites with mayonnaise in Belgium Brilliant. Although I did get told off for eating "Hot-Dog with Mayonnaise", I can't abide ketchup.

Doesn't seem t bad round here, heard a few pensioners pegged it which is unfortunate like.
More worried no stock for work or no work.
Still we can holiday in UK, it's like a carp and expensive version of Spain.

Champion like, we shop in poor area and £24 gets 4 whale and chips, coke and 4sides.
That said been a day or two as Doris tried Quorn lasagne the other day, vile.
Bread and dripping is champion as well, but thing of past.

Poaching used to be big, road kill is still a thing with pheasants etc after hanging them.NUKe wrote: ↑9 Jun 2021, 11:57amWe will probably all need to cut down on meat even if you don't stop, Good Vegan/vegetarian food shouldn't be a side dish to a lump of dead flesh. we try and eat meat and dairy free a couple of days a week , and now as a family have a few main meals where there is no meat or dairy and we tend to get clean plates from the family, on these days.Govnor wrote: ↑8 Jun 2021, 7:45pm The biggest problems we have is most of the suggestions we have tried are like eating straw.
Now we are unlikely to ever stop eating meat, that doesn't mean we are not willing to try them as a side dish.
Had some curried chickpea's wasn't bad, wouldn't want a meal of it-but a spoon on one jacket was passable.
Doris came back with slimming world recipes & let's be honest- they are like prison food.
The latest Hairy Bikers vegetarian cook book has some great recipes if you are looking for inspiration.
Or we quite like the venison option occasionally.
Hairy Bikers? Seems familiar as two blokes on motorcycles years ago, worth a look I guess.
Open to trying different food.

Trying some of this rabbit food, had a ploughman's and found it bearable occasionally.
Don't get on with Hellman's light mayo it's vile.
It's a bit of a culture shock not having the usual fayre.
Rode to pub and left the car at home.
Had a pint instead of 3 or 4 and didn't need Doris to drive home.
Doris's office has a new George foreman and an air frier, binned the deep fat frier.
Oh and we have a fruit bowl and a set of scales.
Sure part of the snacks are comfort eating.

Re: Who needs more than 250W?
Having a bike licence I'd like a electric bike with say 40mph limit, it would of course be a Motorcycle.
Bit concerned 250w and most likely twice the man most are it will struggle.
Guessing a test ride up a large hill at 250w required.

Re: Headset Press Disaster
Grinder a very bad idea.
Risk damage to frame, destroy the tool and the race.
Slide hammer and a Rawl bolt
Poor man's version Rawl bolt and flat metal bar with hole. Tap gently and evenly.
Your at worst Marr the inside of the head race tool which could be cleaned up.
Now fitted many bearings (granted not bicycle ones) and would use a fly or hydraulic Press with correct inserts or if not too tight a lump of CLS, in this case the tool is more hassle than it is worth.

Re: Dieting ...
Diets are a nice idea, but it's similar to being on the dole or camping- novelty wears off.
All the sweets and treats etc here have gone, ate 3 apples and haven't had a red bull for a week.
Also most of our family got to about 70 and pegged it. On mother's side 90 and eating all manner of food.
So yes healthy living is better, but genetics as well.
Also tasty food as we tried this Quorn and ended up down the chip shop as Quorn in lasagne to us was vile.
But we are trying and some fruit ok, apples , easy peelers and blueberries.

Most of the items for most things come from China, Now the obvious thing to do would be to limit or ban such items as they already do as Wish don't sell stun guns etc for UK dispatch any more due to pressure to stop distribution in case they got into wrong hands.

Or a Rawl bolt and slide hammer would work. If you cannot punch it out.
The bearing install tool looks more hassle than a lump of CLS timber and a lump hammer
