Re: Head Cameras

Have anyone seen these if you are on a tight budget, jumbo 808 HD 720p look at theses on ebay by the official dealers only. Look like a key fob. Roughly £27 from Hong Kong/China. It does take 4 - 6 weeks to arrive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBnbuzCINV0 Its no Gro-pro or Condour but the quality ...

Re: The Times Campaign for safer cycling

Can anyone provide details of cycling accidents in London compared to other areas, per billion km cycled? Injuries and deaths etc, by year. I was looking at just that the other day but I can't find it, I'm not sure how they measured it exactly but it was split into London boroughs with Cambridge be...

Re: Hassle On the cycle path

I can't believe some people are saying to go for the dog, it's not it's fault the owner is an ass! It's probably bad enough that they have to put up with the owner at home.

The owner needs an asbo and some training.

Re: Have you heard this? "I'm a cyclist too!"

Yes, once that comes to mind. A guy who beeped his horn at me several times that felt aggressive(he was "stuck" close behind me for 20 metres tops ), closely overtook to turn right another 20 ish metres down the road, same place I was going. He was angry at "cyclists not using the cyc...

Re: e-petition - Road Tax!

You may want to mention in any Epetition that cycling causes almost zero fatalities on the road, does no damage to carriageways, reduces the number of cars on the road, emits no CO2 gases so the carbon footprint once the bicycle is produced is almost zero,is good for the nation's physical and mental h...

Re: On the cycle path

We have a Ninja jogger using the lanes at night and running with his back to the traffic. The second time I nearly hit him, I was driving, I stopped and mentioned the need for Hi Viz and running facing the traffic. Not defending the jogger because in part I agree with you, but doesn't your vehicle ...

I don't think anyone was justifying the actions of the cyclist.
The police should deal with dishing out the punishments though.

Re: Why not start a campaign for cyclists to pay "road tax"?

Yes! I'll be happy to take training and be tested on the Highway code/riding/fit to ride on a yearly basis if drivers do too.
