Is this site ok?

I have had my Brompton now for 2 years.
Where I live hills are really hills and so I have worn my rims nearly down to the end of the wear indicator. So I thought to buy a spare set of complete wheels. Then I can build new rims into my old wheels and so rotate them as needed. Up until now I have bought my spares from SJS cycles, I have noticed a new shopping site called Brilliantbikes.co.uk and they are quite a bit cheaper... Anyone used this site to buy Brompton equipment?

Thanks.

Brompton and Nano problem.

A friend of mine who is now 81 and lives in the South Wales valleys, decided to buy a Nano electric kit to go on is Brompton, cost £740.
He set it all up on his bike and it worked. However, the new front wheel they supplied, that included the motor in the hub, was absolutely appalling regarding it's build. The spokes were so lose that the bottom part of the spokes were not even seated in the chamfered holes. I know he sent for the kit, but, that wheel should have been built to a standard better than that. There should have been a notice tied onto a spoke stating it,s not fit to ride until a skilled person had finished it off, fit to ride.

A question, I know it was in kit form but shouldn't the wheel have been built fit for purpose?

Thanks all.
I went over to is house and managed to get it off.
It's just as well he did not have a puncture when we were well out of site.
Had to use steel tyre levers, plastic ones not a bit of good, yet always worked ok on my mountain bike. There you are things to learn, when you graduate to a folder.

A week or so ago we went on the folders, bus to Merthyr, bus to Brecon, Bus to Hay on wye. Rode over Hay Bluf to Abergavenny, and bus back home.
Well...Not rode all the way, pushed it up to the top of Hay Bluf. It was like walking with Victor Meldrew all the way, mind you he is 80 years old.

Brompton tyre hard to remove.

My friend as a brompton folder and as had it about 6 months.
He told me that on a resent ride he had a puncture, and could not get the tyre off to repair it. Turns out he still as not repaired it, and as asked me to see if I can do it.
Before I start doing this, as anyone else had the same problem, and how did they overcome it.

Thanks, Ralph.
