Moan, Moan, moan

Yesterday, whilst out in the peak, climbing out of Longnor, on to Tideswell and then Bradwell my chums and I lost count of the number of sports gel wrappers at the side of the road. New Year resolution for those of you who discard 'em. Take them home.

Congestion on my journey to work in the city centre is terrible. I cycle but most wont with the roads the way are. Public transport is also terrible - only 1 train an hour, one every 2 hours on a Sunday. Nothing past 11pm. Should motorists fund public transport - why not? We all fund railtrack and I...

I notice they are knocking out touring/mtb shoes for 20 quid. Anyone know if they are any good and do they take spd's?

You should all receive some information about the proposed congestion charge from the GMPTE. They provide an envelope for you to return comments in and I urge you to take the chance to demand better cycling facilities using this form. Its free and will take 10 mins.

Cheers

Dawes Galaxy - need size advice

I'm buying a Dawes Galaxy online and I am looking for advice on the size I might need as touring frames differ to road frames. I have a trek 1000- - 56cm and an Orbea 55cm road bike both of which are very comfy. Dawes sizes are 54cm, 57cm and 60cm - I am 5'11'' or 180cm depending on your age. Would ...
