Carradice multi-tool lost screw

Disappointed with my multitool. It fell apart in my jersey pocket, only a year old. Upon rescue one small screw was lost. I wrote (email) to them, no offer to replace and no ability (will) to provide the missing screw that would let me fix it. Really like the idea of using local, UK based companies ...

Insurance

I renewed today but nearly held back. I am also a member of BC as they offer personal injury insurance on top of the usual 3rd party (you pay a bit more)

Just something I think CTC should also offer on top of their 3rd party cover

Re: White Lines (don't do it)

Well, according to the rules that you quote (is that really the text - the mistake in the bit about "a cyclists" looks odd), you are legal if the traffic has stopped but technically not so if it hasn't (unless it's all cyclists, horses or a road works vehicle). I doubt that you are going ...

Re: White Lines (don't do it)

Not sure. I thought I could overtake the cars as they were moving at less than 10mph. Didn't realise it was limited to certain vehicles.

White Lines (don't do it)

My commute home involves a decent down a main rd with solid double white lines. Most often traffic is near stationary on the side i am travelling on and almost empty in the opposite direction. So as I crest I always pull right and pootle down outside of the (nearly) sationary traffic. Doing so sees ...

Brooks Tension Bolt

Mine has sheared in half - a standing commute coming home on Friday

Saddle is 5 years old so out of the 2 year 'Brooks for life' warranty.

Has anyone replaced one / how easy or hard was this?

Should I complain or after 5 years is that just life?

Dutchman Theo De Rooy is sitting in the Panasonic team car after abandoning the 1985 Paris-Roubaix.
