Re: ...how to....?

If it's a normal video, I could do it for you, I've got a VHS/DVD. So long as I could remember how to do it.

Re: Spare cat?

We have a couple of 'spare' cats. One is next door who comes along to be petted whenever we go out, sits in our back garden opposite the conservatory door just to annoy my Siamese. Then there's one across the road, one who visits occasionally and a grey one who comes in through the cat flap at dead ...

Re: Old Copy of CTC Magazine

Nosmo King is a STAR!

I received the article, copied on COLOUR and I'm going to read it later. I knew it was an old article but it was 1994!

Thanks again.

Now everyone will want to read it.

Re: Old Copy of CTC Magazine

That'd be great NOSMOKING!. I've not been on here & logged on for a few days, so didn't see your reply. If all else fails, I could write to CTC. Still it's not life or death but it would be good to read it again. Just a little novel write up which I liked.

Old Copy of CTC Magazine

This is a very long shot! I only keep a year of any magazine I subscribe to because of a lack of space and even that is really too much. I remember in an old CTC magazine, probably from the early - mid 90s there was a magazine with an article about a woman doing a long distance trip, maybe end to en...

Re: When selling on the Forum

Perhaps if an item for sale is more than the person wants to pay, they should just not buy it! After all you can't do that on Ebay!

Re: New generation of electric bikes

I know at least 3 people who are what you might on here call committed cyclists, who live in hilly areas and use their electric bikes for commuting and during the course of their work, meaning they can cover greater distances within given times, when time is at a limit getting from workplace to work...

Re: Beds - nothing to do with cycling at all!

We had Tempur mattresses quite a few years ago after t'other half suffering real back pain. After the original mattresses finally expired on our Hulsta bed, I couldn't really afford to replace them at the time, so we had a succession of Ikea, The Futon Co mattresses and finally decided to take the b...

Re: The devaluation of music

My other half is a devotee of Pink Floyd and other rock bands of that era. Even if he had the means (doesn't use the computer) to download stuff he wouldn't do it as he likes to have the CD in a case with the pictures on etc. I really couldn't be bothered with downloading music as I don't have a pla...

Re: Giving girls the horn

I once worked for the production director at Ti New World, who made gas cookers etc. One of my jobs was to go around the factory checking up on certain things. I was quite shy about **** many years ago but decided to brazen it out, so they wouldn't bother me in the future. As I walked past some of t...

Re: Most Beautiful Bike

This is an impossible question to answer, as each one of us will only be able to give an answer from their perspective which will be limited by what we've experienced. But its funny you should ask as whilst out for a ride yesterday I stopped admiring the view on a small bridge on a dirt road over t...

Re: wireless broadband Help!!!

When I bought an Apple Express, the Apple wireless router, designed for home use - it includes a connection to my stereo, and my printer, I fully expected to have trouble setting it up. But true to Apple's word, I took it out of the box, plugged it in, and hey presto - everything worked... (My B'ba...
