Re: Final nail for Armstrong?

What Penfold said. I may have expressed myself badly. I meant 'amen to everything Penfold said'. I agree with you, Penfold, and agree with your most recent post too. I think some sort of truth and reconciliation deal is needed. Calling Hamilton and Landis scumbags, as McQuaid apparently did yesterd...

Re: Final nail for Armstrong?

Re: Final nail for Armstrong?

Mike sales, Thanks for that link to the Italian inquiry, the scale of which I was unaware of (I live in a draw in the garage) So MUCH more to come, more heads to roll and perhaps the good Doctor is at risk of a hefty kick in the nads.... With Rabobanks withdrawal as a sponsor how long before ...

Re: Final nail for Armstrong?

UCI president Pat McQuaid said: "Lance Armstrong has no place in cycling. He deserves to be forgotten." Titles gone and perhaps the court battles now start to recover monies paid to a cheat The 'Legend' is over......Let's just hope that cycling as a sport can now get its house in order and...

Re: Funeral Estimates- Plans

Have just finished 'dealing' with late mother-in-laws funeral Total bill came to £3K.......Which in light of some of the prices quoted in previous posts doesn't seem to bad. That was everything that the funeral directors provided. Of course the wake and flowers are not included in that fee....Don't ...

Re: Vango Spirit 200 + (plus) pole breakage?

Try this site:

http://www.tentspares.co.uk/category/9/ ... -Pole-Ends

I used them for one of my tents...they take a while to get done as each complete pole is custom made they don't simply get a new pole off the shelf.

Worth an e-mail I'd say.

Re: Tent bargain?

Another vote for cheaper tents here: I own a Pro Action (Argos) Hike Lite one man jobby. Cost me £24 from Argos and its the dogs do-dahs (IMHO) You can still get them off e-bay at a decent price although the nice bright Orange colour puts a few off Some reviews here: http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/tent...

Re: More Competitive School Sport

I was listening to Talksport radio today and there were many different sports clubs saying they have never had so many youngsters coming along to take part. These are the people who MAY just be the participants in future Olympic games. They have to have encouragement from schools, teachers, clubs an...
