Re: More Competitive School Sport
You know what.......How about paying teachers a bit of bonus to stop for after school clubs. Daughter is a teacher at an academy and she says mainstream school teachers are prevented from doing this due to union rules. She doesn't get paid any extra at the academy either if she stays over Kids who w...

That said it never leaked during a terrific rainstorm, in fact none of them leaked and the two Orange ones are bot...

Re: Velodrome Olympic Magic
Does anyone have a fear that HRH Brailsford may get head hunted by another sport or another cycle team? With what he (and his team of course) has achieved I quite sure that others would offer him a Kings ransom to do a similar job with them. Anyone know if he is 'contracted' to GB cycling? (He must ...

Re: Skyteam
With all the sour grapes coming from France perhaps we had better not celebrate with Shampagne this year. It might leave a bitter taste. Indeed, I also hear that some English 'sparkling wines' (Dont think they are allowed to call them Champagne) are rather damn good. Perhaps 'we' should support the...

Re: Radio 4 Food Programme - Camping Food
Probably just one of those steriotypical things...You know the sort of thing..... all Londoners walk on pavements made of gold and wear bowler hats  I went on a 6 country European tour back in about 1996 with a load of other nationalities. An Australian bloke asked me where I live. I told him ...

Re: Skyteam
Don't doubt it savour it...... We are lucky to be alive during the Brailsford era....... Yes when we are old and grey (about two years away for me) you can sit the grandkids on your knee and tell them about Mr Hoy and Mr Wiggins and Mr Cavendish and the bloke who used to get them motivated. Good gri...
