The rack it mounted to some sort of bridging piece.
Its good to know its at least not a SPA so i can keep hunting elsewhere.
It does feel eerily similar at a distance to the ti tourer; when i say the cycle magazine review, i thought i was looking at my bike haha. Maybe inspired

Thats a pretty bike PH, i'll have a look at their site

ah of course, sorry made the post late at night and didnt think of it.

I'll have a google about wayfarers. Did SPA every do any custom extras? lie potentially a customer special requested the extra mounts. Or maybe they just took it to a welder after the fact; but it would be so odd to get them added and not use them.

Maybe the simplest thing is that its not actually IS mounts, and ive mistaken them for something else

trying to get more information about a SPA ti touring

Hi,
Ive recently bought second hand a bike which is very similar to this bike: https://www.spacycles.co.uk/info/TiTourerreview.pdf
I think mine might be a couple of years younger than that one though. I suspect mine is from closer to 2009, and that one is from 2011.

My bike has IS (international standard) mounts for disc brakes, and has the cables running on top of the top tube rather than under it, but is otherwise pretty much the same.

Id love to know if anyone can identify the year of make of the this bike? ive fallen in love with this second hand buy, and am wanting to upgrade the cantilever brakes to disc brakes if i can find out some more information about the bike, so i can figure out what kind of new wheels i will need to get to match.

I think 531colin who is on these forums was the designer of this bike, so massive kudos to you for making a bike that is so damn cool looking even 15 years on!
