Re: Repair Stand from Black Dog Bikes

If I'm not mistaken the Mk 2 stand is exactly the same as the one that Lidl were selling last year for £29.99.

I bought one & have used it several times & had no problems with it. I think it is unbeatable value for money.

Might be worth waiting to see if they sell it again this year ?

I might even get involved in this one ... as long as work, the weather, a cold & a dodgy gall bladder don't get in the way too much ! :D

Re: Ebay for Beginners

It's not a common strategy because most people seem scared they'll put something on that's worth (say) £100 and only get a quid for it, but it never happens. Stuff always finds at least it's market value on eBay. I'd agree with that providing you describe the item accurately / list it in the right ...

Re: Is WD40 as good as frame saver?

Bob Jackson recommend Dinitrol ML http://www.bobjacksoncycles.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=102&products_id=545 (widely available on Ebay too). It is easy to apply & very liquid at first, but seems to thicken up after about 48 hours. The excess ran out of the vent holes in the frame I treated...

I have crossed several State borders whilst travelling in the U.S.A.. Not once was there any checks to see what, if any, weapons I was carrying. Herein lies a problem.

Re: RIP school kids in Connecticut

Here is a picture I took of a legally held weapon in Ohio in 2010. This gun was the personal property of its owner & traveled with him in his car & was in his domestic residence when he was at home. IIRC it is an M6 semi-automatic, firing Nato rounds. I can understand the use for 'sporting g...
