USA Coast to Coast

Hi all

Just looking at the USA Coast to Coast.... Seen 2 routes of interest route 66 and trans American trail.

Does anyone know the types of roads these routes follow in terms of avoiding main roads

Regards

Google Maps Navigating Imported Route

Hi all

I have finally managed to import a route (kml) file into google maps I can see it there as a blue line

Really stuck on then navigating it from start to finish in terms of voice prompts

Any ideas on this as I just don't get it.

Thanks for your time

Google Maps importing PGX file

Hi all

I often plan my cycle routes in bikehike and create a gpx file.

I was wondering if that can be imported in google maps and then navigate with it ?

If not are there any other map based system which would be suitable to use.

Many thanks for your time

Regards

Mine's called a Garmin, and doesn't lose signal Mines called a Sony Xperia Z and doesn't lose GPS signal either. The OP is talking about phone/data signal. The best Android app for mapping I've found is Alpine Quest. It will display GPX routes imported from a PC or elsewhere. The free version comes...
