I found out that dragging the bike sideways removes studs very efficiently

Re: Specialized Allez 16 or Decathlon Sport 1?
I went for the Allez 16 in the end, it turned up today with a chunk out of the fork. To say I'm not happy is an understatement!

Specialized Allez 16 or Decathlon Sport 1?
Which one would you buy & why?
£269 for the sport 1
£389 for the Allez 16 (2010)
Is it worth the extra for the Allez??
Yet the Sport 1 is a triple.

Re: Cyclist assulted, what would you have done?
It's hard to give an answer since only a handful of people witnessed the event.
I have seen people ride on the pavement on my commute - none posing much of a threat to pedestrians but people feel threatened at different levels by different things.
I do think it's odd that a couple of people have suggested that this may be a sexual assault - Why?? Is it the M vs F aspect or that she was hit in the chest?

Re: My First Fall
The first time I fell was a couple of weeks ago.
I went over a bump in the road & the computer popped out of the bracket, I slammed on the brakes, forgot to unclip & went over straight on to my elbow.
Luckily no-one around to see it.
Nearly fell when a gust of wind caught me at an ASL that was close!

I started cycling to work in November & remember the wobbly leg feeling well! It's not as bad as climbing the stairs for a coffee & not being able to go down them again
I've found that I recover quicker now I've been doing it for a couple of months. Instead of being stuffed for about 20 mins, it's now more like 2 mins.
After reading everyones replies, I think I might start eating breakfast now!
