If you type in Collins in google there is some history that comes up.
I used to live in Sawbridgeworth and can remember vaguely visiting Collins probably in the late seventies.
All I can remember was that it sold mopeds and bicycles.Very old fashioned shop guys in brown coats serving.
My father purchased a brooks swallow saddle there to finish off a Claud Butler in Accles and Pollock tubing.

It should be possible to run 8 campag sprockets on ten speed chorus hubs. You simply need to find the plastic spacer kit to space them out leaving off the 2 biggest sprockets.

I have run 8spd on a 9/10spd hub using a 9spd cassette in this way

You may need to use a 9 spd cassette as I don't know if a converter kit is available for 10spds down to 8 spd these are narrower sprockets

I think Whiskers in Goffs Oak used to sell these kits by Wheels Manufacturing.

I dont know if anyone has noticed this but now CTC are in partnership with Wiggle you cannot buy a touring bike from the CTC.
Is there something seriously amiss about this or is it just me?
