canal towpaths
My wife is not a strong cyclist but seems to have a love of cycling along canal towpaths. We have done the whole length of the Canal du Midi now. Where to go next year is the question. Any ideas on a 2 weeks moving on holiday taking in canal towpaths. She can manage about 40 miles a day, and we need to be able to find B & B each night. France is our first choice and going on the Bike Express bus. If anyone can give us any suggestions it would be most helpful.

Anglesey
My wife has not cycled much for some time, and is in her mid 70's. She says she would like to go touring on Anglesey for 3-4 days. We may be able to get a train (with the bikes) close from home. Is it very hilly, is the B&B accommodation plentiful, or where would one recommend to stay 3 or 4 nights to get in some interesting and fairly easy trips. Approx. 30 miles a day. Would it be best to move on every night. Any suggestions helpful.
We have been cycling for years and usually go to France "on the bus" and move on. This year is dfferent for health reasons.

Thanks for advise on a buff. What exactly is a buff and where does one get one from. The lady in question doesnt wear a helmet. She tells me she does have a "fleece band" that goes over her ears in winter.

My wife would like to cycle more, but whenever she goes out she has pain in the left side of her face for a couple of days. First she thought it was a dodgy tooth, dentist says no trouble there. Doc. says no problem with her ear. She insists she doesnt want to wear a hat over her ears until the winter really arrives. Any suggestions.

cheap B&B near bus pick up at Northampton
Anyone out there know of a cheap B&B near the EBE bus pick up point at A45/M1 Junc. 16 I will have approx. 100 miles to cycle to catch the bus before 10am, so would prefer to go the day before to make sure I am there in time. (July 11th).

canal du midi
My wife (who is not a strong cyclist) and I have now cycled the whole length of the canal du midi. We have done it on road bikes with full touring bags etc. Almost all of it is rideable if you dont mind some bits of rough stuff. Just take your time and enjoy it. If you get a chance go to Beziers and see the 9 locks.
