New Shoes: Toe pinch help!

Bought new shoes the other day, in my usual size. The right shoe fits perfectly but the left the toe pinches the front of the shoe slightly. I've not had the courage to try a big ride on them, any ideas how to perhaps stretch the material in the toe box of the left shoe? I've taken out the insole so that's my last chance! Someone had suggested going out in the rain with them...

Re: Mavic Aksium, with loose cassette.

These hubs almost always come with a washer, so a nine speedwould definitely need one

Re: Security - 2 questions

I use a Kryptonite U lock AND a cable. It's the seciurity alarm effect, the thieves just move along to an easier target.

Re: Any trike riders?

My wife rides a trike round town. Best place to practice is in a local park early morning or a quiet industrial estate of an evening. If you really want to improve your skills, go out with a bunch of two wheelers. She does this twice a week and keeps up with them no problem. Upgrading the braking is probably the best thing you can do to a trike. There are lots of disc brake aftermarket fitting kits which work very well and transform your experience.
Hope this helps ! New forum member!
