My old Madison shorts have finally given up - after some 20 years - so where do I find a pair of loose fitting padded shorts - that will fit a sensibly sized bloke. 38" waist, big thighs (all that rugby!), non-shiny or Lycra, and plain black or navy blue. Seems simple to me, but where do I look - everything that I have found so far suggests that XXL equates to a 34-36" waist, which I had 40 years ago when I was 12. I know that there are blokes out there with bigger thighs than mine (Hoy, Boardman, etc.) so where do they shop?
A decent 2nd hand pair would do me - as long as they had been washed first! - can anyone help?
Based in Darkest Devon, so please - no shops in Newcastle!
regards to all, Braz.[/b]
