Tudor Sports website now up and running

Post by blaugrana »

I thought I'd pass on the fact that this source of cycle tops and tights / plus fours is now online.

http://www.tudorsports.co.uk.

I've never had any but have seen recommendations on the forum.

Best wishes,

Does anyone know if they just for blokes?

Dont mind a baggy top, but blokes cycling tights are skinny bummed things.

I wish I was the shape for "skinny-bummed things" - I've had Tudor Sport plusses, and the XXL fits me at waist and bum level, but the legs are about their "small" size length.

Tudor will adapt the sizes to suit you for a small extra charge - they sent me a standard XXL to try, and I sent them back for shortening to the required length. It's a stretch material anyway.

Two ladies from our section have had Tudor plusses, and are delighted with them.

If you phone them, the guy you talk to is very personable and helpful.

Corinne Dennis does some ladies stuff. I'm currently wearing a pair of gents Roubaix longs & they're superb in cold weather.

I have ridden a lot in both the plusses and the longer tights. Commuting in winter I've had a couple of pairs of long-johns as extra insulation.

BUT

that fleecy material is something like 70% cotton which gets wet and is then very slow drying. Modern fabrics such as those used in Lusso Repel tights dry out really quickly.
