Admin tweaked the settings a few days back, the forum now resizes most pics automatically.

It wasn't my thing, for a while. I had a shop, then I got ill, then I couldn't ride.

Now I can. A beginner again! :D

like Gaz says, it may no longer (as of just a few days ago) be strictly necessary. I noticed that there appeared to be a new feature last tine I posted images, but I have not yet tried it out. A potential disadvantage with the new system is that you still need to upload the (potentially large) original photo file to the internet, so it mightn't suit those with slow upload connections.

cheers

I never view that as an obstacle (although others may wish that I did).

Depends whether it resizes in browser (which many image packages now do) in which case you will not be sending a large image over your connection.
