My local lidls have some of the wired computers at 30% off - £3.50 rather than £4.99 probably others also. no lights though

Hi,
I had some mixed views on the wireless.
I have some wired ones yet to fit.
The early wireless ones which use a 12v battery in the sender, the life was about 2-3 months :?
The CR lithium later ones last longer but fail to operate below 5 C?
Tomorrow is a sub 5 C start...................

My experiences of the wireless computers were they were prone to interference for other sources, there was one set of traffic lights I rode through, on red of course , that spiked the speed to 67mph for a split second.

I'd say value for money. Mount very similar to Smart mount (tolerances slightly tibghter on the Lidl version so a tight fit on either mount).

Will it actually fit onto/lock onto a Smart Lunar mount gharwo?

If it did that would be a plus for me as one of the things I don't like about the light is that it appears to use yet another mount which nothing else uses.
Fits on B&M mounts too (well, on the one my Ixon IQ uses) 8)

Ah well spotted possibly - you mean because it said battery CHANGE indicator? I maybe thought that was a typo for CHARGE. will investigate.

It is otherwise the same spec as the integral battery one isn't it?

The cycling backpack looks interesting for day to day use but need to see it in the flesh - my current backpack is from an italian lidl and has served me pretty well.

Agree: note vertical split line - looks like replaceable battery type.

If its the same backpack they had before, its some 350 grams IIRC, that's Mountain Marathon weights, I have two sacks at 340 grams both second hand off ebay, typical sacks this size can be 800 grams plus.

To clarify, ankling, you are saying that in theory it's very good?

I have a lidl backpack water bladder holder bought years ago - way superior in design for my needs than the branded stuff, very nice light stong material. But they haven't done them for years. It is so good i actually paid to get a zip fixed.

It's not the 26th yet. These offers sometimes turn up late but rarely earlier than the evening before.
